The news surfaced at a late hour but we really want to confirm if the rapper is still alive after the fatal shot during a robbery at Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles. Following new report from Los Angeles Times, PnB is dead after a shooting that took place at 1:15 p.m which the Los Angeles police Capt. Kelly Muniz also confirmed to the media outlet.

The Philadelphia rapper best known for his 2016 hit “Selfish,” died at the age of 30. PnB whose real name is Rakim Allen was with his girlfriend who had posted a location-tagged photo in a since-deleted Instagram post.

They were inside the restaurant before the shooter entered and began to demand for material things and PnB was targeted for his jewelry.

According to Muniz who was one of the witnesses said: “He shot the victim and ran out the side door to a getaway car and then fled the parking lot,” she said. PnB is dead and hip-hop has lost another brand name.
