Classic Cam’ron’s freestyle Dipset, from the early 2000s recently indulged The Canadian rapper Drake in nostalgia when he stumbled upon it.

Taking to his social media page on his Instagram Story, he made a post on September 5th, where he shared a captivating timeless moment of Cam’ron freestyling while he was casually counting money on Rap City back in 2003. This iconic clip has circulated the internet multiple times, and Drake, stumbling upon it again, couldn’t help but express his admiration, captioning it with…

“There’ll never be another Dipset.”

This isn’t the first time Drake has shown his love for Dipset. In January, he honored the Harlem group by inviting them to his Apollo Theater performances. On the very first night, he donned Cam’ron’s famous pink fur coat and hat and also received a custom OVO x Dipset bracelet from Jim Jones. Drake also attributed Dipset’s influence on his musical style and performance, emphasizing how they have made people “dress different, talk different, walk different, and also rap different” even in his homeland of Canada.

However, during the second night, the iconic Drake was seen wearing Cam’ron’s Diplomats’ U.S. flag jacket, while Santana and Jones were flaunting the custom Dipset x OVO jackets.

Interestingly, Jim Jones has once revealed how he passed on the signing of Drake. He also said that he had considered him to be just a mere actor from “Degrassi.” However, he later realized how good Drake’s rap talent was as he fully acknowledged that Lil Wayne had seen beyond his initial doubts.

In sum, Drake’s recent nod to the ‘Classic Cam’ron’s freestyle has triggered his ongoing overall admiration of his love for Dipsets. It also serves as a whole new testament due to the ever lasting impact of Cam’ron and his iconic crew on the world of hip-hop.
