50 Cent Announces Street King Immortal Not Dropping Soon, and Not With Eminem
Street King Immortal is 50 Cent’s sixth studio album which hasn’t been released for a very long time but has gotten a ton of awareness over the past years. In 2016, the In Da Club rapper hinted that Street King Immortal will possibly be his last studio body of work.
Fans have waited patiently, to date, this album in question continues to make expectations more necessary as most minds kept hoping it will drop sooner or later last two years. The heck is that 50 Cent never shown any signs of losing grip on SKI. His interview with Muscle & Fitness is a common way to understand if 50 Cent is retiring after his sixth album.
“I want to finish with that project. I don’t want to write another record after that. You know how some artists got to have confirmation that they’re right. I have that confirmation in f-cking 35, 40 million [albums] that I already sold,” he said.
That was quite interesting hearing about the SKL album but looks like 50 Cent who has hone major focus on BMF is no longer putting Street King Immortal as part of the album catalog. During his latest interview though with The Independent, Fiddy was categorically open about Street King Immortal SKL album update.
Sure Street King Immortal is the best album he has made since GET RICH OR DIE TRYING, he confirmed. But it’s not being released.
His recent interview with Independent Uk, he was asked about SKI which he replied, “That original version is not [being released], but I’m releasing new music in September,” he said. He also added that Eminem will not feature on the project as he didn’t get to finish the songs he recorded with him for the SKI album (remember ‘Champions’ ?) “I didn’t finish the tracks with him… I’m not gonna tell who’s on it because I’m the most exciting person [on the album].”
50 Cent previously talked about Eminem being featured on the album and you can watch it below.
Since 2011, the “In Da Club” rapper has been teasing Street King Immortal. Despite several push-backs, he has released a few mixtapes, including The Big 10, The Lost Tape, and The Kanan Tape. In 2014, he came out with his fifth solo album, Animal Ambition, which served as his first independent album since departing from Interscope Records. Earlier this year, 50 earned a gold plaque for his infectious banger “I’m the Man,” which later received the remix treatment from Chris Brown.
