Seriously nobody wants to hear that but what if Jay-Z totally doged Atlanta 2 Chainz’s offer like let’s make collaboration for the world to stream through commercial platforms. Chainz just addressed his Jay-Z withdrawal via Interview. Without being told, he’s quit loyal, always wanting amazing link up for those folks under his coverage and imagine streaming 2 Chainz and Jay-Z collab, I think it’s more of accomplished plans to Chainz career. But the feature we expected might still not going to happen probably if considering 2 Chainz recent Interview with breakfast.
His thoughtful gesture he shared during The Breakfast Club wasn’t only giving recognition to his latest album, So Help Me God. 2 Chainz did hopped on Jay-Z rejection interest, talked how Hov has been around him but not for studio work, maybe.
Charlamagne Tha God who asked 2 Chainz series of questions also deep into Southside Hov, a song from 2 Chainz and a homage to Jay-Z. The ATL rapper said he spoke with Jay about the record before including it on the project while also revealing why he’s given up on ever receiving a coveted Jay-Z feature.
The song is a tribute given to Jay-Z from 2 Chainz and having explained he’s not trying to be illusion, he can’t be Jay-Z but somehow let him know he really appreciate his career. Even before he sample the Southside Hov, he contacted him for full permission.
“Me and Hov cool so I sent him the video when I did it,” he explained. “Just to show him the angle that I wasn’t trying to be him, but that was the…since it was a Hov sample and the things that I was talking about in the song, it was some Hov stuff, so I named it ‘Southside Hov.’ But um, he was like, ‘I’m humbled by it.’ It was a cool back-and-forth we had, but I sent him the video as soon as I did it.”
2 Chainz and Jay-Z collaboration is getting extremely rare though not Chainz is the cause either. He wants to add Jay-Z to the best of his ability, just a hit make it happen. But looks like Jay-Z hasn’t grow obsession for 2 Chainz. The interview also revealed Chainz waving harder, revealing his done asking Hov for lines.
“As far as trying to get him on something, yes, I’ve given up on that,” said 2 Chainz while The Breakfast Club hosts laughed. “I don’t like rejection and I got this little mental thing—the people don’t even know this. People that I deal with don’t even know this, where I might ask somebody something three times over my whole life and secretly, after the third time, I won’t ever, ever, ever probably like [say anything].”
